Welcome back!!!!!!

Posted on August 20, 2015 at 5:45 PM

Yay we're all back! I hope you all had an amazing summer and excited to be back! I for one got lots and lots of planning and work done for this website. As the first post for the year, I want to talk about the things that are happening with this and what's up with Smiles All Around.

1) I know that last year my posts had lots of grammar and spelling mistakes. That will happen no more. I didn't have the tools I have now so hopefully it will be lots better.

2) I plan on making my posts longer. I plan on being much more organized with this website because I am planning on getting far with it. The reason why some posts weren't so long intent because I was at a lost for words. It was because I ran out of time. But I promise, I'm going to have longer posts with better writing.

3) The website looks different! For the newcomers to this website you wouldn't really know much about this but the people that were here last year see it! I redid the whole look over the summer and I hope you like it!

4) I'm going to start posting on Thursdays! I've found that Wednesday's were a little difficult for so many reasons and that Thursday would be much better so I'm trying that this year.

5) I plan on presenting more! I want to go around and get the word out about this website a little more so I'm definitely going to be presenting lots more!

I'm so excited that I get to continue this whole project and to have so many supporters along with me. Thank you so so much and let's have a great new year!!!

To the boys...

Posted on August 17, 2015 at 8:00 PM

Stay strong. Please understand now that no amount of working out or bad decisions makes you tougher. YOU make YOU tough. Boys in our generation are pressured everyday to be something they sometimes aren't. Society tells us that strength is muscles and abs. When in reality its nearly impossible to get to that and always look like that. We were all put on this Earth to be something amazing, yourself. Not to be tough. I don't know where your love lies but remember, loving yourself is more important. If you love who your alone with, you'll never be alone. Respect your authorities but keep it all in perspective. You da man! Be yourself and follow what you want to do with your life. Do your work, do it well, and stay strong against societies "rules"

THIS IS NOT GOODBYE

Posted on May 20, 2015 at 5:30 PM

Hello everyone!

Some of you read this title, and might have freaked out. No worries my friends. THIS IS NOT GOODBYE. I realized that I had a decision to make. Do I want to continue to post on Smiles All Around over the summer or do I want to stop and come back stronger than ever? It's a hard decision to make with something that means the absolute world to you. After a couple months I decided that I needed to take a break for the summer. But know, It's for your own good. I get it, during the summer all you want to do is sit in your room and be antisocial. You don't need another reason to be stuck in your room all summer. I want you guys to LIVE this summer. Go to the pool and have fun. Meet some new people this summer and just simply have fun. It's summer time! Have a good time and don't let me hold you back. I understand that some of you really enjoy reading this but let me have you know, I am planning to come back with his stronger than ever and I need time to work with that. Just stay strong, be happy, and enjoy your summer!

I love you all SO much!!

Reflection

Posted on May 13, 2015 at 10:45 AM

The year is almost over! Some are excited, sad, or just plain happy to be done. We've studied hard and have gotten stronger because if it. Some f will be returning to the sane school while others are leaving. It's a new chapter in our life we're getting ready to turn filled with memories. But what's important in this time is to reflect. It's so easy to just move on and forget but I feel it's better to think about what worked really well and things that didn't work all the well. Just sit down and think about the past year. Forgive yourself for your bad decisions and reward yourself for the good. We've survived the year! Think about it, we've gotten do far. Through bad grades, stupid drama, even heartbreak and we're still here! I'm so proud of each and every one of you. Go ahead and relax, you deserve it.

To the girls

Posted on May 7, 2015 at 10:50 AM

Stay strong. Know that no amount of makeup or lack of clothing makes you beautiful. YOU make YOU beautiful. Girls in our generation are pressured everyday to be something and look like something that is impossible. Society tells us that beauty is a concrete concept when in reality it's an abstract concept and not one of us are really perfect. We are all put on this earth to be something amazing, not to just be beautiful. I don't know where your love lies but remember, loving yourself is so much more necessary than anyone. You MUST love yourself before you love others. Learn who your real friends are and keep them close for sometimes it's hard to find those kinds of people. Be successful and show those boys who's the boss. Follow your dreams and do your best to get them done. Work each and everyday to be stronger than yesterday and NEVER give up who you are for you are the most valuable gem out there. Stay strong and stay you.

Testing positivity

Posted on April 29, 2015 at 10:20 AM

Hello everyone!

This week I want to share some kind of inspiration with all of you. Test has been insane and I for one take lots of my free time watching Netflix or YouTube. Of course, I can't share my Netflix with you but I will my YouTube. YouTube as a majority of us know is practically taking over the world and it's truly amazing to find the beauty in it. These are some videos that I personally find cool and along the lines of what this world should be more like. They show stories of happiness or amazing things that I feel should be out there in the open a bit more. Some are songs, poetry, or just simply people talking. I'll link them all below. Happy watching!

Cyber bullying

Posted on April 22, 2015 at 10:40 PM

Hello guys!

In this day and age we are so incredibly caught up in our technology. We validate ourselves on the amount of likes we get on a picture or followers we have as if it's that important. But what happens when we use it to attack each other? Some people hide behind screens commenting awful things to hurt others without consequence or trouble. They want to be mean but don't want to be the problem. You never know how much you are truly hurting someone because you can't see them behind the screen. I promise you, if you said what you said online straight to the persons face, you would see what it does and stop, right? Cyber bullying and attacks are the most cowardly thing to do. My tip, ALWAYS think before you type. Imagine getting that comment yourself and how you would take it. ALWAYS choose to be kind and ALWAYS stand up for others and against bullying.

P.s. I am so incredibly sorry for last week and the technical difficulties we've been facing. I've been working on it and worrying about it endlessly. Patience is key in these hard times and we can get through this.

"How to stay positive"

Posted on April 8, 2015 at 3:15 PM

Hi guys!

How do you stay so positive? I get this question quite a bit considering on most days it's nearly impossible to find me without a smile. People don't realize that it's a "how to" but more like a "just do". Bad things happen everyday. It's a fact of life that with the good comes the bad. But I have some tips for all of you that you can try out everyday.

1. Just smile. It's kinda simple but by just smiling everyday at everyone makes not only you but everyone else happy too. If your having a bad day plaster a smile on until it's better. It helps, I promise.

2. Dress up a little bit. If your having a bad day there is no doubt in my mind that this won't cheer you up. When you dress up in your favorite dress or suit, you feel good about how you look. Sometimes I show up way to overdressed for things. But in the end when your happy, who cares.

3. Complete a random act of kindness. I've written about this before but I cannot tell you how amazing it truly is. In my opinion, nothing is more pleasing that a smile and a thank you. You don't know what kind of things that stranger might have been doing or what kind of day they've been having, but you might have just made it a little better. That's amazing!!

4. Do something you love. By just doing something you love you can lift your mood higher than ever. Work on it and exercise your talent everyday until you have it forever.

5. Surround yourself with positive people. I wrote about this last week but I cannot stress how important it is. By just putting yourself in positive atmospheres, it's nearly impossible to be unhappy for long.

Remember, by no means am I saying I'm a perfect human being that's always happy. I'm saying that we are all humans that have bad things happen to us, but we can choose whether or not we want to keep the negativity around us. This week, make yourself the happiest you you can be, and see if your life changes.

Following your dreams

Posted on April 1, 2015 at 10:15 PM

Hello everyone!

This weeks want to talk about your dreams. If you can't already tell, this right here is my dream. To travel around the world leaving happiness everywhere I go. Although this dream wasn't easy to find I found it and I'm doing it. Believe me, if I can do it, you can do it. In today's society it is so easy to get sidetracked on your way to success. Because you say your not pretty enough, not smart enough, not good enough, not rich enough... I've heard them all. You can be in the worst situation, but that doesn't give you an excuse. One way I like to think of it is that your underwater. If you are underwater and can't breathe, all you want to do is make it to the surface to breathe. You have to think of your dream as that breath of air. You have to work to get to it. You loose sleep for it. You have to be working so hard that until you reach it, you may not even know what day it is. I'm not saying that you should forget about everything even happiness, to achieve what you want, I'm saying you cannot be making excuses for yourself. You have to be wanting to work on it. If you don't have enough money, work or find a way to get to that point. Make sure your doing this all for the right reasons. If your just working on something that doesn't make you happy, don't do it. Find your dream and go get it. I believe in fate. And I believe that as we go through this crazy thing called life, certain things are put in your mind like dreams and ideas. When you were born, whatever you believe in had a plan for you. For me they decided to give it to me at 2:30 am on a Wednesday night. I got no sleep but wow, was it worth it. Stay on your dreams, no matter how crazy you think they may be. You got this, I believe in you.
